How long will my tan last?
This depends on several factors including your skin type, skin cycle, lifestyle, and care. It should last for the minimum of a week and has the potential to last as long as two weeks.
1. AVOID WATER: Not the drinking kind. The showering kind. Once your tan is applied, you need to avoid contact with water for 6 to 8 hours. Over night is best.
2. FIRST SHOWER: The first shower that you take should be more like a 'rinse'. Try not to shower more than once a day.
3. AVOID SOAPS and LOOFAS: Try to avoid using regular soaps and particularly harsh scrubbing loofahs. Try to get your hands on DHA-friendly products that won't harm your tan.
4. PAT DRY: Remember to pat-dry your skin. Do not rub it.
5. AVOID EXERCISE: For at least the first 24 hours, stay away from exerting yourself in a way that will cause you to sweat.
6. SHAVING and EXFOLIATING: Keep any required shaving to a minimum, and we do not recommend exfoliating, unless you want to remove your tan.
